Questions parents ask
How does quokid find the right level?
Every answer counts. Two quick, correct answers in a row step up to trickier questions, and two misses step back. Each day the starting level moves up after a strong score and eases off after a tough one, so your child stays challenged without getting stuck.
How do the rewards work?
Once a week you choose a daily reward and a weekly reward, each with a star target. Your child agrees to the deal in the app. When they hit a target they get a celebration and you get a notification, so you can make it happen and mark it delivered.
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. One child gets a full set of daily activities made for their age, plus stars, streaks, the big math sheet and a daily email report. There is no card needed and no time limit.
Which ages is quokid for?
quokid is made for children aged 5 to 11, with phonics built around Year 1 skills such as those in the Phonics Screening Check. You set your child's age when you add them, and the app adapts from there.
Where is my child’s data stored?
Answers and progress are saved to your quokid account, so they follow your child to any device you sign in on. We use your email for the account and the evening report. We never sell data or show ads.
What does the Family plan add?
Up to five children, each with their own profile. Every morning the AI writes activities for each child based on how they did yesterday, and your report shows their strengths and the areas that need practice.
How does the AI work?
On the Family plan, quokid uses Claude or Gemini to write new questions each day. You connect your own key in Grown-ups settings, and it is stored only on your device.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from Grown-ups, then Plan. If you cancel during the free trial you are not charged. Your first child stays on the Free plan.
